Yr 5/6 Basketball Competition, 5th Feb 2010

An array of aspiring NBA stars were on show at the Wolsingham cluster Basketball competition, six schools converged on the courts to battle it out, with a place at the District final at stake. The games were fiercely contested but played with a smile on everyone's face. All the schools were evenly matched and the teams thoroughly enjoyed participating, the eventual winners thanks to some sharp shooting were Howden-le-Wear Primary who edged out Peases West Primary after the final game. Congratulations to them and we wish them Good Luck in the District final in March.

The event was supported by Wolsingham School and Community College and their young sports ambassadors, who did a great job officiating, scoring and leading warm ups for the primary schools.
