YR 3/4 & 5/6 Mixed Tag Rugby Thurs 8th Oct 2009

A highly successfull tag rugby event was capped by a close finish in the 5/6 competition, with the top three only seperated by a few points, the eventual winner being Wolsingham Primary. Throughout the morning the calibre of competition on show was extremely high and all school teams acquitted themselves well.

Schools participating in the YR 3/4 festival received expert coaching from the RFU Community Rugby Coach and then enjoyed a number of games to familiarise themselves with the sport.

Altogether, nearly 100 pupils took part in an energetic and closely fought tag rugby competition.
