Under 14's Girls Basketball Final, Tues 23d Feb 10
District and County >>

This year it was fantastic to see such a talented bunch of girl basketball players compete to be crowned County Champion. The games throughout showed the girls have the skills and the play to match the boys competition. Action on the court was thick and fast, with the results very close by the final game. Durham Johnston put the pressure on and an outstanding contribution from Captain Zoe Ness and her team ensured they came out on top. Congratulations to all the teams who won their SSP finals and made it to the County Final and we wish the winning team all the best in the Regional Final. A big thank you to Durham Johnston School and their PE Dept for hosting the event, Durham Wildcats and Zoe Vickers (Basketball Development Officer) for providing referees/scorers on the day.
