Under 14's Boys County Basketball Final, Thurs 25th Feb 10
District and County >>

A superb display of Basketball was seen at the County Final, where teams from across Durham fought it out to be crowned County Champion. The fast paced action made for an interesting afternoon of Basketball, games finishing extremely close. St. Bedes worked hard with great contributions from Miller and Maddison, Durham Johnston pushed the winners close but eventually finished second with Edes and Bramley top scoring. However an outstanding performance throughout from Park View School showed they were worthy champions, with particular scoring prowess in the shape of Tyrell and Laverick. Congratulations to all the teams who won their SSP finals and made it to the County Final and we wish the winning team all the best in the Regional Final. A big thank you to Peterlee Leisure Centre for hosting the event, Durham Wildcats and Zoe Vickers (Basketball Development Officer) for providing referees/scorers on the day.
