Primary Sportshall Athletics Wolsingham/Parkside Cluster, Fri 20th Nov 09 |
Children from across the Northern cluster of schools showed off their athletics prowess during the recent Sportshall Athletics Competition. In a closely contested event, the difference between all four schools was very slight with only a few points between all the schools. Peases West finally edging ahead to claim the Gold Medal position. All schools participated in both track and field events throughout the morning such as Javelin, Triple Jump, Long Jump and relays.
A big thanks goes to Parkside Sports College for hosting the event and to Miss Hunt for organising the secondary sports leaders who officiated the competition.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the competition and we hope to see many of them next year.
