Over 150 pupils from various school years competed in a fantastic morning of Sportshall Athletics at Teesdale Leisure Centre. The students took part in a variety of track and field events throughout the festival with some fantastic individual and team results.

Congratulations to Green Lane CofE Primary who were convincing winners of the event and also had a lot of individual event winners. Also a special mention to Cotherstone Primary who finished second in the event even though their team contained a number of Year 3/4 pupils.

This event was supported by Bishop Auckland College (who provided young leaders to assist with activities) and staff from Teesdale Leisure Centre. Many thanks to both of these for their help!     Louise Burnett
