Cross Country Festival, Weds 3rd Mar 2010 |
Eight schools braved the cold weather to take part in this years Cross Country event at Staindrop Comprehensive for the Staindrop and Teesdale Cluster Primary Schools. All KS2 teams and individuals were striving for a place in this years County Final which is to be held later this month at Parkside Sports College, while the KS1 students enjoyed their first taste of this event.
All participants thoroughly enjoyed the Cross Country experience and there were some exceptional performances from both teams and individual winners. A big thank you to Staindrop Comprehensive for hosting the event and providing us with some fantastic Year 9 Sports Leaders.
