Children from the Teesdale Cluster schools showed off their fantastic basketball skills in the annual Year 5 & 6 Basketball Competition. There was a huge array of talent on display and some magnificent baskets were scored. The overall winners thanks to some great team work and sharp shooting was Green Lane C of E Controlled Primary A Team.
A big thanks goes to Teesdale School for hosting the event and the Year 10 Sports Leaders who assisted with warm-ups, scoring, time keeping, fixtures and results. They did a great job officiating on their first ever competition.
The pupils who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I hope to see them return next year.
