The County Durham Competition Manager team is part of the national programme funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families and managed nationally by the Youth Sport Trust. Through a national network of 226 Competition Managers the aim is to create:

“A world class system for school aged competition that provides both opportunities for all young people regardless of their ability, and recognised pathways to develop their talents.”
